Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026. This policy explains what data DentPass MMI collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account data — your email address and the profile details you provide when you sign up.
Practice content — the answers you write or speak, transcripts of your recordings, roleplay choices, saved answers, and the feedback generated on them. This is the core of the product: it exists so you can review your own progress.
Progress data — which guides, flashcards, stations, and scenarios you have completed, and your preferences (such as theme and discipline).
How your practice content is processed
To generate feedback, your practice answers are sent to Anthropic (Claude) for analysis. When you use voice input, your audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription; we keep the transcript, not the recording. These providers process the content to deliver the feature and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service.
Where your data lives
Account and practice data are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). Access to your practice content is restricted to your account through row-level security.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the details on our contact page and we will respond within one month.
Retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active so your practice history remains available to you. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new effective date at the top.
